Back to School

Help our little friends at Lyndale School begin the year with all the right supplies!

Last year more than 600 students attended Lyndale School. Some of them cannot afford any school supplies, so our gifts are most helpful. This year we will sort and count all the supplies you donate on “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday, September 13. We will deliver them to Lyndale School in time for the first weeks of school.

The staff really appreciated these donations last fall – AND that they came pre-sorted and boxed so they could find what they needed with ease. How many supplies can we collect this year? Can we prepare more children than we did last year? Are you up to it? School supplies are already on sale in your local store. Watch for the bin in the Memorial Lounge in early August! Any questions just call the Zion office at 612-824-1017.

We will also be packing backpacks for the school age children living next door at ZOOM House.

Here is the list of requested supplies from Lyndale School. Can we top last year’s collection of 17 cartons brimming with brand new school supplies?
