Winter Event Highlights

The LCD and Recovery Worship are back! After a two week break for Christmas Day and New Years Day, our Wednesday evening activities have returned. Join us for dinner at 6:00pm – Karen’s winter menus will keep us cozy and fill our bellies during these cold months. Then head across the hall for Recovery Worship at 6:45pm. Our Epiphany theme is “Tearing and Mending: Stories of Carrying the Message”. ¬†Join Lisa and Durk for beautiful music, thoughtful devotional conversations, and reflection about the messages we are called to carry.

Zion’s Annual Meeting is Sunday, January 26 after worship. We’ll recall the mission and ministry of 2013 and look forward to God’s work among us in 2014. The annual meeting is a great snapshot of our congregational health, our values and priorities, and the energy we share in Christ. (AND our Council President, Stan Nelson, does a fabulous job keep the meeting to one hour or less!) Join us for this fellowship and conversation.

Our First Property Morning is February 1. Show up around 10:00am to help with all kinds of tasks that will keep Zion clean and organized. This month’s list includes sanitizing hand rails, washing pews, and organizing the ZOOM House Food Shelf storage areas. The more, the merrier!

Special Music Sundays: February 9 and March 2 will feature special guest musicians, including our opera singer in residence and her musical parents. Come for great worship and beautiful music – and bring your friends or family.
